Carl's Top 10 Things Every Parent Schould Know About

  1. Friend Day, April 20, 2008; For a Friend Day like we've never seen before, we would like to set a goal of 100 youth for this year!
  2. The Mix Weekend, May 2-4, 2008, at CCHS; cost--around $35; This will be a local Disciple Now/Missions weekend with county-wide youth groups.
  3. Graduate Recognition, May 18, 2008, during morning worship.
  4. Centri-kids, June 16-20, 2008, Toccoa Falls College; This camp will include students who have completed third-sixth grades.
  5. Centrifuge, June 30-July 5; This camp will include students going into eighth grade through this year's class of graduated seniors.
  6. Fall Retreat, October 17-19, 2008; place and cost TBA; This is our big event for each year. It's a perfect time for our students to renew their fiath as they have been in school for a couple of months and need a time to spend with our Lord.
  7. Youth Progressive Christmas Dinner, December 2008.
  8. Youth Super Bowl Party, February 2009, place TBA, cost--free; however, we will ask parents to help with snacks and drinks. The church will provide the food. We will be looking at splitting up the middle school and high school parties.
  9. Youth-sponsored +55 Valentine Banquet, February 2009, in the fellowship hall.
  10. March Missions Madness 2009; date, place and cost TBA.
