Josh Gribble, Youth and Children

Josh Gribble grew up as a missionary kid in the Philippines. He returned to the US in 1998 and felt a call to minister to young people while in college at Averett University. After graduating from McAfee School of Theology in 2007, he served at First Baptist Church of Forsyth as Minister of Youth and Children. He came to Trinity in 2014 from Jeju, South Korea, where he worked as an English teacher in Korean public elementary schools.

Josh has been married to Sunny since 2007. She is from Jeju, South Korea, but considers herself a “southern girl” having lived in Georgia since 2003. Their son Caleb was born in Jeju in 2012 and is an aspiring musician. In his free time Josh loves playing guitar, reading, video games, and playing hide and seek with Caleb.

Matt Marston, Pastor

Matt Marston joined the staff of Trinity as Senior Pastor in June 2010. Prior to that, Matt served as a pastoral resident at Wilshire Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. Matt volunteers as a mentor through the Moultrie YMCA and he is a recent-graduate member of the Board of Visitors at Duke Divinity School.
 
A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi, and a Masters of Divinity from Duke Divinity School in Durham, North Carolina.
 
Matt and his wife, Elizabeth, have been married since 2007 and have two small children, Isaac and Lena.

John Grobe, Music

John Grobe came to Trinity Baptist in July of 1997. He previously served as Minister of Music and Education at First Baptist Church, Devine, Texas. John Graduated from Mars Hill Baptist College in 1983 with a degree in Music Education. He completed a Masters degree in Music Performance at Florida State University in 1986 and a Masters in Church Music at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1989. His wife, Amy, is a fifth grade teacher at R. B. Wright Elementary School and she serves as the church pianist at Trinity. They have been married since 1989 and have two children, Amanda and Gradyn. John has remained active with community chorus and symphony productions in Tallahassee, Florida; Valdosta and Moultrie, Georgia. He is a member of The Sons of Jubal through the Georgia Baptist Convention Music Ministries Department. He has served on boards through the United Way of Colquitt County and has served as a mentor through the Communities and Schools of Colquitt County. Email John.
